Best Boating In Paradise: Let Us Show You How It's Done

The America's Boating Club of Sanibel - Captiva welcomes you. We meet on Sanibel Island, but draw members from Captiva and the near-island areas of Ft. Myers.

If you are interested in learning about boating and boating safety, you will certainly want to take one of our courses. In addition to education we have fun day and overnight cruises - you can participate even if you don't own a boat. Also, we have a variety of boating-related activities both on the water and on land.

We are the largest organization on Sanibel but have room for you! Our members are part of a boating family comprised of some 30,000 members and 400 "squadrons" of the United States Power Squadrons® (USPS®), America's largest non-profit boating organization.

As part of its effort to promote safe boating, the Squadron now makes all courses and workshops open to the public on Sanibel Island. (See Education on the top menu bar or click here.)

Participating both on-the-water and off with fellow members who are skilled in boating is a rewarding and enjoyable experience. Activities ashore include meetings with marine programs, parties, and field trips. Membership is for anyone who shares our common love of boating, has passed one of our boating courses, and is at least 18 years of age.
